If you've not had a toasted marshmallow in awhile; it's time you revisit this sweet treat again! Just a couple of minutes under the broiler & you have got heaven on your plate. I've added bits of pieces of goodies to mine as my calories allows, to make them even better & to provide a little more variety.
I'd love to hear what you do with your marshmallows. Anyway, here's some of my easy quick variations. Use one at a time or double up a couple of them to have a very sweet diabetic friendly treat. Large marshmallows only have 25 calories each!
Sprinkle with any of these & put it all under the broiler with your marshmallows:
coconut
sugar free caramel topping
sugar free chocolate topping
squeeze of sugar free jelly in any flavor
(of course) chocolate & grahman cracker
peanut butter
dried fruits
peaches
cherries
oats & butter flavored spray
low fat popcorn, butter spray
peanut butter cracker
1/2 a banana
nuts
cheerios
wheat chex cereal
sugar free chocolate pudding
So, let me hear your own little tricks for a snack under the broiler for marshmallows or anything else.
