A month ago a company I'd heard of for their chocolates, called Enstrom Candies
agreed to send me some samples of their new line of sugar free confections. They said they Would be shipping me a box of sugar free chocolates to review in August once they were made.

to enjoy. They ship FedEx which is why this is United States
only entry,sorry. Also no p.o. boxes as fedex won't deliver
to a po box. Your phone number will be required only if
you win and only to allow your package to be shipped. You will
not be called and it will never be shared so you don't have to worry about that.

The day finally arrived when FedEx delivery brought my box of Sugar Free Almond Toffee squares! They package their candies like you would expect a fine candy to be in a gift box that opens up to reveal what's inside. Then there's a layer of waxed paper in between the layers and on top too.

It really is a charming
presentation. Mine were really super hot from the sun even though
I brought them in just as soon as the doorbell rang.

At least it wasn't one of the times when the fedex man just doesn't bother to ring the doorbell or to know. He actually has been known to just leave a box outside and you have no way of knowing it is out that. I so hate that! But, like I said that didn't happen to this box of candy because I was waiting for him to bring it.

You couldn't eat it right away because the paperwork says to put it in the fridge which I agreed with since it was almost ready to melt away it was that hot from the sun! We're in prime heat time for Indiana so I think the heat index the day this came was 110 degrees.
I was really surprised it didn't have a gel pack in it for the weather conditions.

Anyway, on to the candy! Once I had let it sit in the fridge a couple of hours it had hardened back up. It was a little hard to brak apart the pieces but I did it. This toffee is heavenly! It
might well be the best tasting piece of candy I have ever eaten!

I don't take my candy lightly, if I see it's darn good you can believe it's really very delicious. You can taste the pure
butter in the squares. You first have all these crushed almonds
all over it and some have large chunks of almonds too. Thye
chocolate is divine and it has a caramel buttery taste to
it too. It's quite a sensation for your mouth!

It's like the perfect piece of candy as it combines sweet and
salty plus chocolate and caramel! Toffee is one of my
all time favorite things to eat. What else could a person
want? I think nothing but a glass of cold milk.
There is no aftertaste to these toffee candies either
so you'll be able to fully enjoy all the flavors.

I'm a denture wearer so the whole almonds I'm not able to chew but
the crushed ones I can handle pretty easily. I just put
this heavenly candy in my mouth and let it just sit there
and soak up all the wonderful flavors it offers. It softens
up once it's in your mouth and you can enjoy it all. Actually
it melts away like creamy buttery goodness.
