Nutrisystem D Nation Blogging Program 1st
Official Post, My Box Came Today!
As I've said for the last month or so, today is the start of a new makeover plan for me! This is the official first post for my new Nutrisystem D especially geared for type 2 diabetics. I'm so excited to be a part of this new adventure and I hope you will come here every week and share in my triumphs! I'm planning on having a lot of success with this blog program from Nutrisystem.
Nutrisystem Follow Along
I've decided what I will do is start a new Nutrisystem weight loss blog post each week and leave it in draft and add to it all during the week as I try all the new breakfasts, lunch, dinner and dessert treats that Nutrisystem has so graciously provided for me!
Then at the end of the week all of my meals, likes and dislikes will be on the post already. I thought about posting on a daily basis but I decided it would get to be too much for all of you to keep up with. I know how busy all of you moms and dads are.
So a weekly Nutrisystem post I don't want to lose any of my loyal subscribers. Hopefully, I can add a few new friends and subscribers along the way to my new healthy eating meal plan.
My box from Nutrisystem arrived today ups ground shipment
and boy was it huge! It said it weighed 38 pounds! I'm glad
my regular ups guy was on duty because he carried it inside for
me. I tore in to the box quickly it was like unwrapping
your favorite Christmas present! The anticipation was killing
me to see what the foods actually looked like.
Well I must say they look very inviting! My son helped
me remove all of the meals and snacks from the box and
we placed them on the huge shelf in the pantry I had
cleared away for them. It took up every inch of it too.
My son said wow that is a lot of food for 5 months! You
should have seen the look on his face when I told him
that was for 28 days!
It's like having my own private specialty grocery store
right in my kitchen. I kept everything sorted like they
had it so cleverly laid out in the box. It all was seperated
and categorized like this;
It was so much fun putting all the goodies onto the shelves
I'm so glad I get to do that every month for awhile. I
think my kids enjoyed it too, they kept finding items
that they thought looked good to them! They both said
the chocolate cakes and the beef and pasta's looked
like real food that even they would eat. I don't know
what they thought I was going to get but it must have
some soy or tofu in it somewhere because they seemed
shocked at every package! So far, I only had one minor bump
in the road for me, I didn't know that there would be no
whole wheat bread involved. I thought sure for my beef patty
I'd get to have my usual whole wheat bun but according
to the sample meal plan the buns and breads are out! That
set me back for a few minutes but I emailed my spokesperson
and she explained it all to me nicely. She said I'll be getting
plenty of my carbs in my actual entres, fruits and vegetables.
I was worried about that because I have trouble maintaining
focus because of my diabetes a lot. So I am sure going to
miss my breads and buns but hopefully it will be for the
Since this arrived late today I'm going to take tonight and
tuesday to read over all my paperwork and booklets and
go shopping for my add in groceries tuesday. That way the
plan is starting fresh wednesday morning November 3rd!
