Today I want to talk about a fun snack food, Corn Dogs that I've
just tried.

Farmssent me over a box of 4 Veggie Corn Dogs to
sample here on diabetic snacker. I have tried them now
and have found they have a great flavor. I like the
sweetness in the cornbread batter used to wrap the
hotdog in. I was positive that I wouldn't like them so
I'm surprised to find that they did indeed taste like a
Corn Dog should taste. MorningStar Farms Veggie Corn
Dogs are great for snacks and quickmeals since it's
something everyone likes even the pickiest little

As a food blogger one of my favorite things in the whole world is
to try a new food item and talk about it. I guess if you're here,
you've already figured that out. I invite you to become a blogger
so you too can start doing reviews because I'm telling you, you're
going to love it trying all of these new foods out!

Want to know what I said when I opened my new box that
arrived at my doorstep from
Nature's Hollow?

"W-O-W WOW, W-O-W!"
is what I screamed out as

I was opening it. It was like an anticipated girl's

Christmas present being presented. They sent 7 large

jars of their specialty sugar free items for me to try.

I've been testing them all out a little bit at a time so

as not to run my blood sugar up and I am really happy

with all of them. You won't be able to tell they are

sugar free food products because there is no aftertaste

to them. I love having so many varieities of jams in the

house. They taste like fresh picked fruits. The jams

spread out
very evenly on your toast or bagel. I'm a big bagel fan

with jelly on it not much tops that simple good taste.

This box was packaged to handle the
chaos that can go from the shipping departments. It was
double packaged and wrapped with just the right amount

of packing peanuts and dividers. You can tell they've

been shipping for awhile as it shows in the way they

package their goods.They even had the box marked as

"Fragile" which most people tend to forget to do.

I would agree with all of those statements. The jams and

honey's are spot on for their rich fruitty flavors. The

only thing that was a little runny was the ketchup but

that doesn't affect the flavor or the recipe you use it

for.

The mountain berry jam, was definitely one of my

favorite items because it's hard to find a good tasting

sugar free jam in any flavor let alone one that is

awesome!Most companies I feel just slap one together
and don't care what the heck it taste like. I'm glad

Nature's Hollow is not that way.

Their products taste
just like they should taste-normal tasting only they
have the added bonus of being sugar free. Which also

makes them a diet friendly item for everyone to enjoy

not just diabetics.

I'd never tasted real maple syrup before over pancake

syrup that I have always used. I must say, there really

is a big difference in flavor. I've been missing out on

maple syrup all of these years I guess. I'm so glad

these products were sugar free creations which means a

lot of extra work goes into each one in order to do it

right. I used the sugar free Nature's Hollow ketchup to

make my own sloppy joes and they were great. I just used

my same old recipe for sloppy joes but swapped out

everything to sugar free ingredients. That way I can

enjoy a big 4 ounce sloppy joe sandwich on a whole wheat

bun without worrying about spiking my diabetic sugars.

I'm glad companies are going the extra mile to make

these healthier versions of their same classic foods.
I'd recommend anyone who is trying to be fitter or just

to eat healthier to switch over to sugar free products

and see what a difference it makes in the way you feel.
You don't have to be a type 2 diabetic just to eat sugar

free. That's how we should be feeding America's kids

right now to help the obesity rate in the World. It's

the little things like these steps that make such a big

impact in the end.

So anyway, Nature's Hollow foods are very tasty and made

from natural ingredients. I hope you go and check their

website out. I mean who knew you could even by sugar
free Honey?! I'm using that to bake up some sugar free

goodies.
