This movie, The Fat Boy Chronicles, which hit the
street's January 3rd, 2012 from
Phase 4 Films is
a riveting story about bullying amongst teens. In these times
where Social Media is everywhere it's nice to see a reminder
of how dreadful some High School students can be.
The Fat Boy Chroniclses focuses on a 14 yr old boy named
Jimmy, who is overweight and is
teased by kids at school which naturally makes
him even more self conscious about his body and
overall well being.

He keeps track of all of these hurtful things,
writing daily in
his journal about the things kids say and do
to him. Very mean things, they don't spare
any one's feelings. Some of them
if you're anything like me-you'd love to just slap
them right across the face.

Living with this type of tortue every single day, he desides to try to lose weight and
tries jogging along with dieting.

He finds a girl to befriend
that is also different from the pact
of teens, because she is very
thin and has wild blue hair. She stands up for
him and defends him against the cruelty that
some of the rowdy teenager's are inflicting on him. He
uses this bullying as motivation to keep losing weight
and is doing better himself when henotices that his
new found friend has scars from
cutting herself!

In an attempt to gain popularity at this
High School,
Jimmy and his friend Paul
invent a "fake girl" to try and trap a killer who
likes young girls. They think it will make
them more popular if they catch the killer.
The
story takes a twist when Paul's dad, who is an
alcoholic, gets violent with Paul after a sleepover
at his house and he starts to realize that
other people have bigger problems that are
much harder to overcome than his and he goes
into hiding.

After Paul
dissapears, Jimmy worries even more about his
friend's than himself and he starts to tutor
the sports jock at school in his spare time.
They both find that
they have something to offer each other surprisingly
enough to each of the teenager's. It's a good
thing he has this new athletic friend because he
will soon need help from him. The
jock at school comes to Jimmy's rescue in the
locker room fight scene.

Paul is soon found and is in the hospital
after an accident where he lost his leg while
he was in hiding.
The story goes on to show that we always think
our problems are too big to conquer but with
help from other's we can indeed conquer all of
our fears if we just try. It's about reaching out
to fellow human beings if you want to call some of
these mean kids that. It's a good storyline and kids
will pick up a few tidbits they need to be reminded
of on a daily basis. Life goes on, trajedies happen
in the real world. How you deal with these events and
let people help you makes all of the difference.

Outdoormen Are Seeking


Well the lovable comedy guys are back some
more adorable than ever. I'm talking about the
classic Steve Martin, Jack Black & Owen Wilson
who are making 2012 rock with The Big Year,
which comes to Blu-ray and Dvd on January
31st,2012 which is right around the corner.
I was sent a screener copy of this dvd to
watch and it was a nice treat to have. This
whimsical presentation is based on competitive
bird watching which is not something you see
very often in film land. It's actually a
family movie that is cleaned up enough
surprisingly for the kiddo's to enjoy to with
mom and dad. I was honestly shocked as
everything I've seen Jack Black in before this
was on the filthier comedy side.

It's an improvement on his part and I hope he
keeps it up for future movie making topics.
Whomever spots the most species of birds in
North America in a single year will be the
winner. The twist is there is no prize money
to be awarded. Seeing these 3 play out this
secretive competition is funny because of
their facial expressions and voices they use.
Of course, it has to be funny with these 3 in
tow. The honor system really? How many people
do you know that could pass that? I'm guessing
not too many but that's what they are supposed
to do to accomplish their missions and win
this no prize contest. The movie reminds me
of my favorite childhood tv watching days of
The Andy Griffith Show and perhaps Leave It To
Beaver, where the honor system was all the
rage. It's nice to see a thrown back relaxed
type of movie for a change where everything is
simple and the little things in life mean more
to you. It's also great that there are no
awkward sex scenes.

Everything becomes part of the challenge as
they each try to out-do the other in this
special event of fowl watching lover's. There
are some actual bird collector facts thrown in
here and there so they did do some homework
for this to come off so natural. It's great
to have it cleaned up and the camera work is
great with tons of beautiful countryside
scenes. The area's they traveled were
amazingly picturesque locations and if you
like to see sprawling country views you'll
like this. So get yourself ready to get this
fun comedy next week for the first time it
will be available thanks to 20th Century Fox.

So as you can see there are a lot of special
features available for this film.
Now if I could have my biggest year for 2012,
I would wish to meet a celebrity or go
somewhere where there are celebrity's hanging
out at least! My favorite choice of course
would be my all time #1 fave of heart throb
George Clooney, but I doubt that is ever going
to happen. Here I am in little old
Indianapolis about to have the biggest game of
the year right here Super Bowl NFL 46 only a
few days away and I'm not invited to any Super
Bowl Parties yet that any celebrity's would be
attending. It's just too bad that would be so
much fun to see some of them. I'm only ten
minutes away from Downtown Indy where dozens
of activities will be underway so you never
know what might happen
afterall a girl can dream about the life and
excitement of celebrities,right?
Maybe I'll go hang out at that new fangled
ride downtown the Zip Line and see if some
celebs show up for that next week. It looks
pretty awesome at 100 feet up in the air. I'd
never have the nerve to ride that thing but
both of my sons say they want too and are
planning on heading down there to participate
in it. No Fowl Play involved.

Here's my take on this movie:

The film
The WhistleBlower,
is already winning award after award for it's thrilling
spine tingling performance in 2011
and after seeing it I can see why. It truly is as
heart pounding of a movie that you'll ever want to
see so 20th Century Fox hit that right on the head
with that statement.

Now that it is coming out on blu-ray and dvd
today, I suspect a lot of family's with teen
or older children, will be purchasing
it to add to their dvd collection or their
home movie theaters. I'd say it would be a good
choice for everyone to see, especially if you have
teen or even younger than teen girls.
Yes it's the ultimate in women predators and
the word needs to get out there that it's not
acceptible for this kind of human behavior to
continue.

I know I'm glad I
received it as I'd have to say it's an
excellent film to watch and enjoy. The cast
is a well chosen one and every person in the
film seems to be acting in harmony meaning
they were a great fit with each other, so the
director did a good choosing each of these
fine characters involved For The
Whistleblower.

When Nebraska small town police officer
Kathryn Bolkovac played by Rachel Weisz,
agrees to take on an assignment from The
United Nations for keeping the peace in
post-war Bosnia, she uncovers a deadly sex
traffic ring with conspiracies right and left.
So the film is about what happens when she
makes p her mind and takes on this conspiracy
at full force. It's a riveting plot with a lot
of super action, fighting, death, sex and all
of the proper dramatic options included.
This one is going to have you biting your
fingernails- you're going to be wanting to
kill some people so badly right thru the
screen. Or at least I know I wanted to do go
on a wild killing spree myself. You'll see my
least favorite two words in the whole English
language come into play again: "Diplomatic
Immunity." Really I think that what should
mean whenever you hear that phrase is Shoot
the bastard dead right this second with no
hesitation! You can save the questions for
later just do it.
I absolutely dread hearing that it always
tells you that they are evil slimy creatures
in front of you when they use that statement
to describe themselves.
This does a great job of portraying this
deviate behavoir and everything about it looks
so real that you'll soon forget you are
watching a movie unfold. Especially with the
blu-ray format like I watched, it's so clear
and vivid
you'd think you were right there in the room
with some of these sadistic characters of
criminals at large.

In the bonus features there are quite a few
cast and crew interviews which adds a lot to
the plot and understanding of how the picture
was made. The behind the scenes shot's were
really informative and the hi-def resolution
is perfect on every scene in this dramatic
movie event. I would have liked it if they
had went a little deeper into the background's
of some of these characters but I guess they
don't have time for everything you want.
The prostitution and turning women into sex
slaves is so terrible that it's dusgusting. I
wish the law could stop that type of thing
from happening in the real World instead of
just portrayed in a movie. It's a long hard
battle with local corrupt executives
everywhere but at least
you'll be able to see some good being done in
this film. It's full of excitement and
espionage so prepare to be entertained.
The Disc constains a full menu for you to
navigate so you'll be able to select all of
the
aspects you've come to expect to tweak for
yourself to get your movie presentation just
specifically fit for your viewing. You can
move freely from the scenes to the language
options and many more little tricks are at
your main menu option. It's a really dark
movie and the scenes are all set that way so
think of each scene being dramatically dark.
You won't find any bright lights and colorful
mood enhancements in this dark foreboding
movie. The scenes are depicted perfectly with
no mistakes.
Overall I'd say this is a must see movie but

it is a painful not talked about enough
subject matter that needs to be stopped all
over the World. I say go see this wonderful movie and
stand up for women and their abuse all over the country.
This will get your thinking as it should, great movie.

I am so excited to let everyone know that the
movie Real Steel
will be released on Blu-ray
and DVD on January 24, 2012 and it's a must see movie
from Dreamworks Studios. They've created something far
outside the box with this film.

My Synopsis of the film:

Charlie Kenton, played by Hugh Jackman was a
boxer with a promising career ahead of him. He
wasn't thought of as a Champion fighter but he
knew a lot about it and had a lot of pull from
the crowds and so he felt like a champion.
Like everything in life it seems,
boxing champions are also being replaced be newer
faster gadgets.

The sport of human championship boxing
took a dramatic turn because spectators wanted
and expected to see more death like the
gladiators who proceeded us. Yes we live in a
violent society where people are never
satisfied until they see someone totally
destoyed or beat down to their final death.
People in general are a greedy bunch.
That is when the
underground robot boxing groups came into
play to fill this gap between what humans
wanted and what a human could give them.
In a way they are pushing human men
out of the picture and casting them aside. People
no longer wanted to pay to see two men fight
each other. It was too simple and boring an undertaking.
They could see that at the local
bar or any street corner. Instead, they wanted
to see huge as in monster steel robots fight
each other to the death. Well the death of the
robot as it unlike the human boxing champ can
always be rebuilt and restored. I guess that's
one good thing about it.

Once human boxing disappeared, Charlie was
left with nothing-everything he loved was
gone. His only means of income was promoting
robot boxers made out of scrap metal parts so
they were low cost to make. Charlie realized
he was scraping the bottom of the barrel and
ran out of money soon. He needed to find
another way to live and earn his way in this
crazy violent World. To add to his already
mounting money and life reality problems, he
learns that his
former girlfriend had passed away leaving him
to deal with his son Max played by young actor
Dakota Goyo.

So now on top of everything else
crumbling away he needs to care for his only
child.
Sadly Charlie had no interest at all in this
new friendship with his son but he did have
interest in Max’s Aunt and her wealthy husband
Marvin's money. Yes he saw his golden ticket
to his pot of gold thru this new arrangement.
Aunt Debra, Charlie and Marvin struck a deal
that would make everyone happy and richer
right away. The so called deal was the
selling of Max to the rich couple. The movie
takes a stab in the dark mean twist then as
the event unfolds. Max is of course upset that
his real father sold him for money like a
slave so it only adds to the hatred he feels
for this man the so called champion of men.
Charlie would take Max for the summer months
allowing Marvin and Debra to go to Italy and
return Max to them at the end of August for
$50,000 up front and $50,000 when he returned.
I will agree it is a pretty hefty price tag
that was offered up. But as we all know no
good can ever come from making such deals as
this. So the deal was made, the trip was taken
and everything went hunky dorey according to
plans.

Charlie takes the money he received from
Marvin to purchase a robot which was called
Noisy Boy in hopes of making future money for
himself. The robot was like his investment or
lottery ticket to cash. That plan didn’t work
out too well and Charlie was forced to find
another 2nd robot to try and do better. Now to
get their expensive metal parts needed to keep
these robots of steel running Charlie and Max
had to visit some impoundment lots of waste
dumps.

One night when Charlie and Max were stealing
and scalvaging robot parts from the dump Max
finds an out of date robot buried in the mud.
Charlie thinks that the robot is junk but
geeky Max sees it as much more of a potential.
With the help of Max and his muddy robot Atom
Charlie embarks on a once in a life time
opportunity to reclaim some of the precious
previous glory from his earlier years. At the
same time Charlie and Max are given a second
chance of building a relationship which I for
one was happy to see. The man has became a
criminal no less so he needs to turn things
around for this eleven year old boy and show
him what's he's capable of.

What to find out more? You’ll have to pick up
a copy of Real Steel on blu-ray for yourself.
I will tell you it is well worth the price of
your movie as this turns into a great story.
I really liked this movie as it did show you
both sides of Charlie's World from his own
eyes. This is more about a father and a son
trying to build a relationship from nothing
but a humble lonely beginning. It's not just
about robots and technoolgy it has a lot of
human emotion built right in. I know the guys
will especially love it as there is quite a
bit of rock 'em sock robot's for them to love.
Hugh Jackman was the perfect choice for the
part of Charlie so the casting for this film
was spot on dead center target. The real scene
stealer is Dakota Goyo as Max his son. That
young man is a great actor and has a terrific
future in movie land awaiting him. I know
I'll be looking forward to seeing more
features with him involved maybe even a
starring role is in his movie forecast.
You have to check out the bonus features when
you see the movie, including the awesome
soundtrack. You can watch the Countdown to the
Fight: The Charlie Kenton Story the big event
spectacular. This feature gives you the
background story for Charlie and helps you see
how he came to some of his decisions so
easily. Knowing the behind the scenes story of
Charlie's character helps you understand his
character from his unhappy childhood to his
lost boxing career so be sure you watch it.
My favorite part of movies is the deleted
scenes. love to see deleted scenes and I
never miss watching them as you always learn
something new and interesting by taking the
extra minutes to view them. . It makes me
wonder how different the movie would have been
if they were kept in as some of them usually
should have been. Of course there are also
scenes that deserve to be cut and so were. I
like seeing how many were cut that really
deserved to be. Sort of like checking up on
the director to see if he made the right call
or not. There was a scene concerning
butterflies and Max's relationship with his
Mom that I would have liked to have seen in
the movie. I think that Charlie having this
butterfly that was missing was a key element
in Max accepting him as his dad. But, that's
just my opinion.
There are several movie cutting floor bloopers
and some unique bonus material clips with
boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard that I found
to be really interesting.
Real Steel also has the Second Screen option
that extends the film experience with
interactive content that you can control
including photo galleries, flipbooks, puzzles,
behind the scenes materials and more. The
application is available for iPad and your
computer and it's a great added feature to put
to good use. Modern technology is so
fantastic you will be taking your movie
watching to the next level using Second Screen
features. So be sure you check out this movie
as it is a good way to spend a few hours.
They have Real Steel available in many formats
so you can choose the way you like best. I'd
highly recommend the Blu-ray option for the best
picture quality and overall sound performance
available. It's high definiton at it's best.

Sid & Nancy Biographical film On Blu-ray Now
Iconic Cult Classic Celebrating Its 25th Anniversary

I'm a movie loving demon so I am always
happy to have a variety of movies on hand to
watch and when they the director throws in
a well chosen
cast-even better! This week's victim was
Sid & Nancy
on blu-ray from Twentieth Century Fox. It's a real eye
opener and will show you things you wish you'd never seen
in the first place. It's a long hard road to success and
there are lots of perils in the way.

This is the
story about his
extraordinary hazardous life with his
girlfriend manager Nancy Spungen. Nancy, who is now
said to have been the
love of his life was stabbed to death suddenly
and you know who was charged with her murder
as it was a longtime scandolous affair covered
Worldwide by the media. Another famous celebrity
life gone bad. That being said, it's a whodunit
that you can now watch all of the pieces come
together and see for yourself what happened to
poor Nancy. It's a boy meets girl story line
that's been told hundreds of times but has a
tragic ending.

This punk rock couple led a life that knew no
boundaries. I didn't know anything about them
before watching this film and now I feel like
I have been quite informed about their crazed
lifestyle.
This movie digs deep into the main characters
giving you a chance to get to know them pretty
well maybe better than you wanted.
The movie's plot is based loosely on the short
life of the lead from the singing group, Sex
Pistols but that is just background for the
real stars, which is the romance between
these two quirky individuals. Follow them down
dark alleys,crowded streets and dangerous
hotspots to find out what made them tick.
It's definitely a Cult film and is one of the
highest ranked on Amazon so it has a story
worth telling. One thing I noticed to be
different about this blu-ray was how the movie
jumps right to the start of the movie with no
long drawn out main menu to fool with. I kind
of liked that as it made for a super fast
start to the film. There is a pop up menu
screen for your pleasure.

You'll also be able to enjoy the high-def
experience with Sid & Nancy as it has been
remastered and is top notch quality pictures.
If you were a fan of this group you'll want to
watch this film to pick up on the history and
events. Music and history play an important
part as well as drugs and alcohol. So there
are many factors that come into play for this
couple. The very best performance by far is
from Gary Oldman as the main love interest Sid
Vicious. He does a brillant job of making
this movie flow and stay on track. The film
sets out to do what it means to do which is
entertain you for 113 minutes. Special
characters like Gary Oldman will help you
recognize that you were truly entertained
with Sid & Nancy's remake from Twentieth
Century Fox. This blu-ray is certainly a
collector's edition that you'll want to have
added to your own dvds. Afterall, it's the
80's man-get real.

There are two special features on this
collectible film one being
For the Love of Punk, a short feature film in
itself that festures many commentaries from the community.
The other is called Junk Love and
clearly can stand on it's own in this vast
universe of films. It's also more commentaries and thoughts from
other people who had been in contact with them. It also has a lot
of the same people they already had spoken to on the other clips
but they do have interesting things to say. It's worth a listen
so you can come to your own honest conclusion about this murder
movie.
This film Sid & Nancy, doesn't have a
rating attached to it yet but it's definitely
an R rating. So fasten your seatbelts you're
in for a bumpy train wreck ride. It's not for
the weak or faint of heart.

Healthy Diet and Exercise To Ease Diabetes Type 2 Diabetic Help Tips Talk

Type 2 Diabetes common for diabetes mellitus, is a congregation of metabolic diseases which is primarily characterized by high blood sugar. There are three different variations to the type of diabetes a person can have: type1, type2, and gestational diabetes. What is vital in this disease is that it has got no cure (except for specific cases) but can be controlled by a proper application of diet, medication, and exercise. Keeping the diabetic's blood sugar level under control is the frequent advice given by the doctor. Since you cannot apparently control the medication part it is recommended to work on the eating habits along with required physical fitness achieved by exercising. Educating the diabetes patient about the disease and its control measures can be very helpful in keeping a check on diabetes. As per WHO estimate, about 3 million deaths per year are on account of diabetes.
Diet and Nutrition

A strategy can be extremly helpful when combating type 2 diabetes. The food intake is very significant in controlling diabetes. There should be a reduction in carbohydrate intake. The Harvard Medical School recommends limiting (or eliminating) cookies, potatoes, processed grains (containing refined flour), and food that get digested easily thereby increasing the sugar level in blood. Saturated fats and alcohol consumption are to be avoided. Fried food should be avoided. High sodium content in foods like soy sauce, MSG, mustard, etc. is harmful. Smoking is to be avoided in all cases, especially for diabetes. High cholesterol as in high-fat dairy food, yolk of egg, etc. are prohibited. Even dry fruits can be harmful except for nuts having sufficient mono unsaturated fat.

Suggested intake is for foods like beans, whole-wheat items, fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, and the ones that are slowly digested. This can avoid a sudden fluctuation in the sugar level and there by keep a control on the disease. When sugar level increases uncontrolled, the insulin management of the body is disturbed causing trouble for the diabetes patient. Protein contents as in red meats and fish can be included. Generally, the natural sugar content of food is not supposed to harm a diabetic person. So a strict no to sugar is not advised, but in exceptional cases. For diabetes based on insulin, extra care regarding food intake has to be taken. Prefer consuming fruit to fruit juice. Go for regular small meals. Drink plenty of water. Keep track of the blood sugar level on a regular basis. Any abnormal variation is a warning signal.

Individual body needs differ from the other and getting a diabetic safe diet plan from the doctor is recommended. Besides adhering to healthy eating habits, regular exercising is also needed to control diabetes. By training the body to act in a desired way, you can control many internal metabolisms. Keep you body weight under check. It has been found thru extensive research that diabetic people are prone to heart diseases. Exercising also keeps the overall body functioning (including the heart) fit. Exercising advice can be as per individual requirements ranging from aerobics training to doing a chair exercise. Undue fatigue is to be avoided. If the patient has sensitive nerves in the feet, he should avoid any unwanted pressure by opting for swimming or rowing. Even though small be regular with it. Gradually increase your exercising habit. The doctor is the best person to guide you in this
new healthy lifestyle.

Considering the rising number of people suffering from type 2 diabetes, increasing number of awareness camps is being organized by hospitals and organizations to educate people. It is not only important for people suffering from diabetes to become educated but also for the relatives and family members of such a person who play an active part in the patient’s life. Even a little effort on your part can go a long way in improving the life of the patient. While the best advice comes from the doctor, active participation in type 2 diabetes awareness camps can certainly be helpful.

Type 2 Diabetes can be controlled by carefully applying nutrition and health techniques. Whenever required do consult your doctor as he is the best guide. Be prompt on all the warning signals and never sideline any single one. You can enjoy the benefits and accomplishment of a contended life by keeping your life pain free. The bubbly will be flowing on New Year’s Eve, but there are a lot more holiday cocktail options than the traditional champagne. Party hosts can impress guests with unique drink recipes and staple cocktails that are easily enhanced with a dash of flavor extract.

A dash of Nielsen-Massey’s Rose Water adds a light taste to champagne while Pure Almond Extract mixes well in a piña colada. Inventive mixologists can add a teaspoon of Pure Peppermint Extract to 2 ounces of vodka to create Peppermint Schnapps or try the Nielsen-Massey Peppermint Pattitini recipe below that will bring New Year’s cheer to the party.

Nielsen-Massey Peppermint Pattitini

2 oz. Vodka
2 oz. Half & half or cream
1 heaping Tablespoon hot cocoa mix (i.e. Ghiradelli Premium Hot Cocoa)
¼ teaspoon Nielsen-Massey Pure Peppermint Extract
½ teaspoon Nielsen-Massey Pure Chocolate Extract
½ teaspoon Nielsen-Massey Pure Tahitian Extract (Madagascar or Mexican if preferred)
Ice
Chocolate syrup
Mini candy cane

Add all ingredients except the syrup in a shaker and shake vigorously. Pour into chilled martini glasses. Garnish with a swirl of chocolate syrup and candy cane.

* for a fun twist, swirl chocolate syrup in martini glasses, then place in freezer for 5-10 minutes
** garnish with a sprig of fresh peppermint for more holiday cheer

several times about their girls items being so sweet. Well now

took this product home and tested it out with her grandson so here

thought is was a bit small for school age children but it is still
an awesome tote to have on hand for any other childrens needs. It
would also be nice as a small storage bag to conceal some of your little
Prince's hidden treasures.

"I recieved the Dragon Kids Backpack from
Kidorable. It is shaped like a shield which
hinders it's usefulness a little. It is very
small, only about 12 inches deep. So because
of the shape a standard sheet of paper does
not fit. This backpack would be good for very
young children to take a few small toys with
them but not for preschool or school age
children due to the size. The dragon on front
is kind of scary for young children. The
backpack also has two small pockets on the
side and straps and includes a handy hanger loop."

The Dragon Knight Kidorable Kids collection background
color is gray with a darker green like camoflauge
color as a decorative touch. If your little
one loves Dragon's or just Knight's of the
roundtable era he'll be all setup in these
clevery made items. The umbrella is an especially

Well it sounds like a huge exciting concert event doesn't it?
This is a special occasion for Glee fans to
find this concert film of the cast’s Summer
2011 musical tour over and over again. I'll be honest
I had never seen an episode of Glee before watching this
blu-ray movie. I don't think it's my particular cup of tea
but I don't know why all the film critic's are bashing it
so badly. I mean, I know this series of musicians has a ton
of followers and fans so somebody has to be watching it and
loving every minute of it. To each his own as the saying goes.

I can give you an idea of what watching it for the first time reminded
me of. The old sitcom of The Brady Bunch which I will admit,
I never missed as a child of the 50's and early 60's. I'm thiniing
especially of the scene where the Brady's get their first actual
recording gig. The son "Sunny Days". Yeah, you remember that too
don't you? That's what this type of musical seems like to me. Not
that there is anything wrong with that. :) I still will catch myself
humming the tune to that very song weekly or more.

So if Glee is what you crave get this movie on dvd or blu-ray now
while it's out and hot 'n ready to go.

Chris Colfer’s solo of The Beatle's popular
song, I Wanna Hold Your Hand was the most
moving performance by far I thought.
The Safety Dance is included and though it’s
not great, it does give someone else a chance to
shine in the spotlight even if it is very brief.

The concert just isn’t that good I'm sorry to
say but hey if you're a fan you're a fan I understand
that completely so I won't knock it. I will tell you
that the picture capabilities of this on blu-ray is
beyond awesome. You won't find a better quality picture than
this on blu-ray.

It’s the same songs you've seen dozens and
dozens of times from the show with a few extra
delightful goodies added in. It also has occasional
lip synching which tends to make it worse.

Extended and additional performances contain 4
bonus songs featured for your enjoyment.
The backstage moments with the cast seemed a
bit rehearsed and they didn't seem to be
relaxed at all. The movie concert does seem like it's
fit more for beauty queens with it's colorful fabrics
and soft touches.

ANOTHER EARTH 2011 Blu-ray Review

A Must Add To Your Movie Collection For
Sci-fi Aficionado's

My Take Sypnosis:

I like a good Sci-Fi movie to sit back relax and forget
about everything and this will have you doing that just
fine.
Planet Earth
has 2 worlds going on so step into their parallel universe
for awhile and enjoy the ride.
I found this trivia fact interesting to note;
The Williams's house in Another Earth is
director Mike Cahill's mom's house.
Rhoda Williams, is played by Actress Brit
Marling who is a high school student accepted
to MIT. She over celebrates with her high
school friends and drives home drunk a common
theme in movies now sadly. Listening to a
story about an approaching planet that looks
just like Earth on the radio, she looks out of
her car window to the stars and accidentally
slams her car through a stopped car at an
intersection! This surprising collision puts
the other driver, John Burroughs,played by
Actor William Mapother in a coma. The wreck
also instantly kills his wife and young son so
the start is really tragic and tearfilled to
watch.

Since she is a minor and was drunk, they don't
reveal her identity to John the comatose
driver from the accident. She of course is
sentenced to prison for this accident and
after serving sentence, Rhoda does not go to
MIT like she had originally planned but she
becomes a janitor at a nearby school. Keeping
her busy at work helps her not think about the
death and troubles she caused and how her life
changed in that horrible moment.
After cleaning a school for a long time and
hearing more new's coverage about the
approaching planet that mirrors Earth, she
decides it's time to talk to him and let him
know the saddness and guilt she feels every
day. So she goes to John's house after his
long slow recovery thinking she will apologize
for the pain and suffering she
has put him thru. Of course she chickens out
at the last minute and has to come up with
another quick plan. So she pretends to be a
maid offering a free day of cleaning as a
marketing tool for
a maid service in New haven. I wish someone
would offer me a maid service for day I'd be
all over that.

Anyway he agrees to this maid service since
he has been so depressed for months that he
hasn't cleaned at all since the accident
happened killing his wife and child.
When she finishes cleaning and house is spic
and span clean he asks her to come back next
week and she says someone from the service
will indeed come back.
Feeling even more guilty than before she
returns to clean and develops a caring
relationship with John that eventually becomes
more significant and romantic. Stranger things
have happened so it only seems natural that
these two depressed individuals would become
close. Now remember, he still doesn't know she
was responsible for killing his wife and child
and shattering his entire world apart.
So while this romance has been blooming the
mirrorer Earth planet has been getting closer
day by day. She enters an essay contest
sponsored by a millionaire business owner who
is offering a space flight to the approaching
mirror Earth how cool would that be to win? I
think anyone would want to win that type of
prize just once and travle to space and reach
for the stars. So she enter's the giveaway and
waits.
Rhoda's essay is selected and she is chosen to
be one of the first explorers to travel to the
other Earth space mission! She excitely tells
John she has won the space flight but he asks
her not to go and in her moment of being
crushed she spills her long kept dark secret!
when she tells him that she was the one who
killed his wife and son and ended his happy
married life as a father forever- he forces
her out of his house and tells her to never
come back.
Rhoda hears in a television telecast something
very interesting; that the humans of the
mirrored Earth are identical to those on her
Earth in every way. How could that be? I'm
thinking about my favorite tv series "Fringe"
here.
She also hears that until the moment they
learned of the other's existence they are the
same. From that point on the identical people
on the different Earth's probably began to
deviate in small ways and made minor changes,
changing their actions,changing
outcomes,changing fate's might be possible.
Rhoda hopes her identical self on the other
Earth did not make the mistakes she made on
the night of the accident and she trys to find
out all she can.
So she finally figures out the best solution.
She needs to give him her ticket and let him
go and meet these other people.
Rhoda returns to John and gives him the
golden ticket
to the other Earth, Earth2 telling him enough
information to give him a small glimmer of
hope that his wife and son might be alive on
that planet. John accepts the gift and becomes
one of the first civilian space travelers to
the other Earth.
She also will run into her own twin from anoer
earth soon as she will be waiting for her one
day as she opens up her back door. It's kind
of amazing how these people have the ability
to find their like person and track them down
so fast. So Earth 2 is what they call the new
planet and everyone will have the ability to
a new life thru this double or visitor from
another planet.

The movie is a little slow paced but
the pictures are gorgeous of all the space
scenes and the Earth's. The blu-ray delviered
optimal picture quality on this movie. Each
scene is detailed with brillant color in this
hi-def presentation. It has a lot of
silent moments in it that seem to go on too
long, but other than that it's a good movie
that I think will have you wondering about
your own redemption and things you would do
differently if the chance ever became
possible. The main actress of this movie is
very good and portrays her character to the
fullest. I still hate the evil guy from Lost but he was ok in this movie too. You know how it's hard to like someone after you hate them so much for 5 whole
years? I hated him so much that when I first saw tha tit was him who had lost his wife and child I secretly thought to myself "it serves you right", but I quickly took it back and forgot about his former past evilness.

The romantic comedy What’s Your Number?
starring Anna Faris and Chris Evans is now
available on Blu-ray and Dvd for everyone to
add to their collection. The lead character
plays Ally Darling a 30+ single woman who
realizes she needs to find a man to marry
before it’s too late. Yes I know we've all
thought that at least once in our lives,right?
So it's certainly not a stretch on the
imagination. This would be a great one to
share with your girlfriends on a girl's nite
out event or a bachelor party theme. You can
buy it now on dvd format or blu-ray. I'd highly
receommend the blu-ray for a much clearer picture
and better sound quality. Once you go blu-ray you
won't be able to go back to watching an ordinary
dvd again. Take my word for it. Our family swears
my the power of blu-ray it's the great step up in
high definition.

My Take Synopsis:

So it starts out on a good foundation but it
heads South after that.
The script is kind of right out of the cracker
box so nothing brillant. Actually not much
funny stuff at all to see. The cast however
is good and solid giving their best
performance for mediocre lines.
Ally is down on her luck so naturally On the
same morning her boyfriend breaks up with her,
that's just Murphy's Law. Then then add more
bad news on top of that when she gets fired
from her marketing-public relations job. So
here she is already depressed and so reading a
magazine on the way home from being fired, she
learns that 96% of women with 20+ past
boyfriends never marry! It's like the final
straw for her. She figures out she is on
number 19 on this sexual encounters list so
she vovs not to have anymore sex until she
finds the perfect Mr 20. It could be someone
she has already met you never know about how
these fateful circumstances play out.
So here she is wondering watching and wating
for the perfect man to dance to her doorstep
but it doesn't happen. Instead she decides to
regroup and look up all of her former
boyfriends and give all of them one last shot
at being the lucky twentieth guy.
So that is basically what happens she tries
again with many of these so called ex
boyfriends. It's not the funniest show ever
but it does have quite a bit of guy eye candy.
So if you like seeing some of the boys next
door kind of guys this is perfect for you.

The funniest moments are between Faris and her
real life husband Pratt. Everything else is
fairly predictable. Ally’s sister, Ari Graynor
is getting married, much to their
perfectionist mom's delight. I hate her mom
I'll just tell you that from the start. She's
the kind of snobby mother no one appreciates.
You know the kind I mean the ones who think
love is a made up fairy tale that only happens
between the covers of a book.
I think this is good to watch and stay on top
of if for no other reason than to say I told
you so to her annoying mother. Overall watch it
so you can hate her character.

This subject is something touchy for a lot of people. Maybe even better just to say it's private or nobody's business. Everyone though does have a magic number and many inquiring minds needs to know just What Is Your Number?

A One-Stop Resource For Healthcare

It's a whole new year and a beginning for many of us who are
trying to live healthier happier lives. Johnson and Johnson has

all of the right ingredients on hand. I think it's a resolution of
many people including me to find more family friendly items that fit

in Indiana it's hard to find a store that will
accept printable coupons but I know other

with that. I guess our stores are just slow to

purchase you make adds up over time so it's
always worth the effort of clipping a coupon
or pinting it out. I'm a coupon queen myself
so I am always prepared and ready with my
coupon box completely organized and ready to
go. It's the best money saving method for
starting the New Year out right. I would like
to see more parents using coupons at the
grocery store. I think it's a shame when they
don't as they are really just throwing money
in the trash without even realizing it. So
many products can be purchased at a discount
using manufacturer's coupons that it makes it
the right thing to do. Afterall, you're trying
to feed your family on a budget aren't you?

Well a coupon is just one tool in your arsenal
kit. The more of them you have and can use the
better savings you'll see on your total food
and household bill.
