The Game of Life ZaPPed Interactive Games for
Families Funniest Home Video Clips

My family has been enjoying a fun new game lately called
The Game Of Life ZaPPed App from Hasbro Toys!
Look who else in the picture above has been shopping for this game app?
Yes that's right it's Actress Mom Brooke Burke so you know it's a
family friendly game.

The Game of Life ZaPPed is really a unique combination game because you get to
use your iPad and game board together. Yes another great use for your ipad.
The free game app certainly brings your usual
boring game board to front stage with over 100 video
clips from America's Funniest Home Video's tv
series. I know we are huge fans of that television show. So it's going to make you all laugh
and have a good time because you know how easy
it is to laugh at other people's mistakes.
To play you just move your cute little car
around the board as with the original game and
build your journey as you like. You can
choose retirement or to spin you have a lot of
choices what you can do. You can choose to get
paid or perhaps sue another player. All of the
decisions are handled on your ipad very
easily. The game itself is totally educational
since you will be using money and every thing it
takes to have a successful life.

The Game of Life ZaPPed interactive app also lets you
customize your own character peg and it's
simple too. I love the fact that the game
requires
No assembly to begin playing. All your family
members need to do is follow along the on
screen instructions as they are given. It's
so easy to follow along that it's kind of
relaxing. The game is recommended for ages 8
years and up and I think it would make a great
family gift. I think even younger ages could
play along with a little help so everyone can
have a good time while participating in this
interactive game. I also love the way you can
customize your own characters by adding
peg-sessories to them. I like mine to be
totally awesome so this was very cool. It
gives the game a crafty feeling which is fun.

The game is super fast to setup you'll be
playing in a matter of minutes so it's a big
time saving advantage there. I'm sure all moms
and dads can appreciate that about it. If only
real life was this simple. It reminds me of
the good old days when I use to play the
original Game of Life with my friends. Lots of
good memories there so it's great to be making
some new ones again.

It's equipped for 2 to 4 Players and the only
thing you'll need to furnish is the ipad for
the app download. Isn't new modern technology
wonderful? We also have an Android phone
around here so I wonder if they are going to
make this for that option but I guess we'll have to wait and see.
You really should try it out for your family because everyone
is going to love it- it's FUN!

MyBlogSpark is one of my favorite Network's to receive announcements and special news
from by the way of a mom Spark. Well this time they've out done themselves
again. Today's spark is about General Mills the maker of Cheerios cereals.
I know if you are a regular reader of my blog you've heard me a number of
times say how much I love my morning cereal and Honey Nut Cheerios is my
favorite to start my day with. Well Cheerios is making it even easier now
for all the family's to save even more money on those boxes of whole
grain cerals each week. They're are combining 2 boxes into 2 packs so
you cake take home double the goodness. It seems like a smart decision
to me as it will help keep your pantry more fully stocked.

We go thru quite a lot of breakfast cereals in this household with myself and 2 adult sons. They can put away a huge bowl of cereal! Now me, trying to eat
on the lighter side with diabetes, I always try to stick to the recommended
serving sizes. It's always just the right amount so you're not overly stuffed
and you feel that you've had something really good and tasty.

Isn't it nice when you can sit down with just a simple bowl of milk
and cereal and really feel satisfied with your breakfast? That's why I
enjoy having it so much. I many times have it again for my late bedtime
snack since I know it's a good diabetic friendly healthy choice for me.

So, the next time your'e at one of these warehouse club's take
a look around and find yourself some Cheerios goodness to take
home. Costco, Sam´s Club and BJ´s all across the
Nation. I saw them at my local Greenwood,
Indiana Sam's just this week. They were just
stocking the shelves with them when we got
there. They also had samples of Cheerios so
that's always good for munching on while
you're shopping. Besides, I love getting free samples of food and
drink's. It's one of the reasons why I shop monthly at Sam's Club.
If you play your cards just right sometimes you can score 3 or 4
snacks in one shopping trip!

and BJ´s nationwide. You know, I didn't even consider the
environmental impact on this packaging choice but it's big

the Giant Cake) Interactive Ipad App

"I was sent the book app for Ipad called
(Elfishki and
the Giant Cake). It's a story book app that's
an nteractive iPad book for children ages 5-9
years old.
It was a storybook with interactive things to
do built in. I tried it with my children and
it did not seem to hold their attention. There
was a part in the app where you could decorate
a big colorful cake with all kinds of things.

They liked that better than the story but were
quickly bored with it and wanted to stop. I
have a lot of book apps and the ones from
Sesame Street are the only ones my kids want
to do over and over so far.

They also have now releashed an"
iPad Application called Elfishki and The Unwelcome Guest. You can find this
interactive app here."

Gloria's kids were the right age groups so not sure why they
didn't take very well to this particular ipad app. You never know about kids. They may love something one minute and the next minute they act like it's from another planet or something. So give it a try and see if your kids are into fancy cakes and decorating them they like like this ipad interactive story.

I have not read the book or seen the play
based on this story but it was really so
beautifully put together that I didsn't miss
anything. So you can save yourself a lot of
time by just getting the dvd instead. I
thought they set up the battle scenes very
well and they didn't look like stage props,
you really felt you were right there in the
midst of it. The hidden gem of the movie is
the connection of love between the boy and the
horse and it is wonderful to see. The director
has certainly knocked another one out of the
ballpark with this. I believe this would be
the perfect stocking stuffer movie for the
whole family if you like to give gifts of dvds
like I do. It's so enjoyable to see a family
friendly presentation with such a broad reach.
It depicts so many details and still captures
the underlying charm of the story. You little
ones are going to be asking for a horse of
their own after seeing this film as they can
really be a true friend. This is a not to be missed
picture and you know those come along rarely anymore.

If your kids love to sing along with songs
and games as much as other children do they are going to
love finding this funny adventure that has already
sailed into to millions of homes. It's everyone’s favorite
furry critters (Alvin &
the Chipmunks Chipwrecked)!
With the full cast of Chipmunks in tow of Alvin,
Simon and of coure the ever clever Theodore.
This time around they even have a new female companion
called The Chipettes. Yes the girls are back in action and
ready to stir up trouble however they can. I like having the
girls involved in this plot.

These three musteteers have the time of their lives during
a family planned vacation outing and they’ll never forget in
full living color. The Chipmunks, Chipettes and their lively
guy responsible for them Dave Seville played by comedian
(Jason Lee from My Name is Earl which I surely miss.
Anyway, the groups
embark on an unforgettable trip of a lifetime aboard
the famous Carnival Dream cruise ship. Sounds like a
great plan doesn't it? Those lucky little creatures well
I am imagining it would be great I've never been on a cruise
yet. Well unless you
count the gambling boats I was on them but they didn't go
anywhere they are docked the whole time you are onboard
so I don't think that counts.
The Chipmunks and the Chipettes are out Seeking fun and
excitement and turn the luxury
cruise boat into their own personal
playground. Yes the Chipmunks will be gambling
and dancing with ladies and having real fun on this
dvd. It's a sight you've never witnessed from the group
before.

The ultimate vacation quickly
becomes a disaster in the making when members
of the crew and I won't say which ones- go overboard!
Yikes and Holy Cow to that scenario.
They are separated from the other's and must figure out a
way to survive on their own. That would be pretty
scary if it happened to you or me so just think what
a poor little chipmunk must be going through.
This movie includes all of the cast of characters who
took over the Chipmunk franchise and the voices
are great. I was around for the original version
of Alvin and the Chipmunks who began as an American
animated music group in 1958. Yes I was only 2
but they would still become one of my favorite animal
cartoons to watch and enjoy over the years.

I always liked their colorful sets and unique
costumes. I think they teach good values to small kids
all over the World so they are a very family friendly
group for all of the little ones. Plus they are just so darned
cute who couldn't just love them to pieces.
Who would have seen back in 1958 that this group
would go on and earn several awards including five Grammy's,
two Kids Choice and an American Music
Awards plus their own Wii Game and brand new Dvd!
Alvin and the Chipmunks story line whether you are
watching it digitally, blu-ray by dvd or by way of your
Wii game console still delights young and old alike.

In short, the guys aren't quitting anytime soon.
They really do continue to
entertain families all over America, with lovable characters
CHIPWRECKED.
Songs Included are hits from Lady Gaga and Munk
Music so a lot to enjoy and take in with this selection.
Now you need to find it and see who was shipwrecked
and if they made it back to civilaztion.

Movie Out of this World Animated Adventure Now

Now this is quite a unique movie offering
for kids titled
(Space Dogs) from Phase
4 Films. For one thing it revolves around Space and the
unexplored frontier so it's exciting for kids
everywhere to see. What young child doesn't
dream about being an Astronaut? It's a
natural obsession with kids to go where no man
has gone before and escape from our planet.
Even if it is in their own backyard.

Imagination is why Space was explored in the
first place so it started in the mind of a
child long long ago in a land far away.
Well this story is about dogs that go where no
pets have gone before and it's an enjoyable
playful romp in Outer Space. The characters
are very family friendly and your kids will
love both of them. The scenes are vibrant and
colorful and are well set up. They've included
several good tidbits on the bonus special features.

This furry friend's tale is based on the true
story of Belka and Strelka who were two
Russian dogs who were sent to Space in 1960 as
part of an exploration experiment and gained
Worldwide attention. Only in America could a
circus performing trick dog and a homeless dog
become Astronauts who leap into the Universe.
The characters are fun and easy for kids to
like right from the start so it will keep them
tuned in and willing to see what happens next.
Space Dogs includes many wonderful songs that
the children can sing along with because Phase
4 Films know's that all kids like to do that.
Singing is a big part of being a happy go
lucky kid and it helps fuel the imaginary
sparks in all of them.
This canine adventure has been released on Dvd
at your favorite retailer's for $24.99 US and

because your kids will want to play it over
and over again, you know how that goes. This
will be one of those that you may as well
leave laying next to the dvd player you'll be
putting it in a lot for your little
Astronauts.

The kids were impressed with this movie that
two dogs could be trained to take on these
human tasks and do it so well.
We were all sure cats couldn't haven't faired as well.
I think we liked the training
process most of all as they had to endure a
lot of things. We talked about how hard that
would be to have to do all of that physically
draining training.

The trivia on this is that the Russian dogs made a
puppy together doing their journey 50 years ago.
I was also fascinated in doing a little research and
thru special features to
learn that one of the puppies was then sent to
President John F. Kennedy's daughter Caroline.
I was a big fan of the Kennedy era since I lived
it so I love finding out trivia about their lives
in The White House. So since the puppy was created in
outer space technically, I am
wondering if that made it the first Alien baby
ever? It's something to think about.
Since the story took place 50
years ago I was glad to see it brought back
out for kids to enjoy it again. The film
maker's did an excellent job of making this
fun feature film. Your family will like it.

I have been munching on one of my
favorite snack time treats this past week of
popcorn. This time I tried a New Hampshire
online establishment called
Michelle's Sweet Shoppe
Gourmet Popcorn.
I can tell you it is a great tasting popcorn too. With so
many ways to flavor popcorn I'm glad it's such a healthy
snack to begin with. They have four categories to select from with
each category having many flavor choices inside.

One of the best best things I received was a
long pretzel stick dipped in caramel and
chocolate and covered with sprinles. It was
the first thing I put in my mouth and it was
overall the #1 thing I loved most and it was
all mine, I didn't even share a bite of it. I
saw on their website that you get six of those
for $13.00. What a steal that is!
Michelle's Gourmet Sweet Shoppe sent several
of their popped fresh and bagged varieties and
my family had a blast trying the different
flavors out. As soon as the huge box arrived
the kids tore into it and everyone was picking
out their favorite's. It was great tasting
gourmet style popcorn that was soft and
freshly packed.
I ate a new to me flavor of the Coconut
Chocolate first and it was quite an experience
being crunchy sweet and salty. I think
everyone loves that salty sweet combination in
their snack foods. I'd not had coconut
popcorn before but it's perfect together. The
chocolate mixed with the sweet coconut reminds
you of an Almond Joy candy bar when you're
eating it. It was the most awesome bites of
popcorn this gal has ever had!

My youngest son snatched up the peanut butter
cup popcorn next and he enjoyed it. He was
shocked you could even put that flavor combo
on a piece of popcorn but he was glad they
did. Once he'd devoured about 1/4 of the bag
of that one he moved on to his usual favorite
suspect- the caramel popcorn. He was right
back in heaven with his favorite flavoring of
caramel. He gave me a handful of it and said
say goodbye to this bag because it's all mine
and he went to watch tv with his prized
possesion. I thought it should have more caramel
flavoring on it myself to be perfect.

My oldest son is more of a hot and spicy snack
food lover which made this box perfect for the
three of us to share. Since his brother had
grabbed up most of the sweet offerings he
opened up the Nacho Cheese bag and the one
called Hot 'N spicy. He was saying as he was
opening it how it didn't sound right to put
this type of flavor seasonings on a kernel of
popcorn. That was funny to hear as we watched
him eat over half of the bag without hardly
taking a breath! Man
to be able to just eat what you want like that
would be nice to do again. Being diabetic I
have to pick and choose my sweet treats a
little more carefully than that. I did try
over a few days time all of the flavors that I
wanted too and was shocked that they all
tasted so precisely what they were supposed to
taste like.
I mean, it's just wonderful how modern
technology now lets yous turn a simple grain
of wholesome popcorn kernels into something
magical,delicious and unexpected too.
Michelle's also has Pumpkin Spice and
chocolate caramel. Yeah that's right it's like
eating a slice of warm pumpkin pie in the
fall. That would be a great snack treat to
have on your Thanksgiving table. It would be a
healthy alternative to those who love their
pumpkin pie but want to eat a little lighter.
I'm glad I got to experiment and try these
tasty treats and so were my kids. You should
check them out since you can order right
online and have them shipped popping fresh
right to your door. Great gift giving idea
too. With Mother's Day and Father's Day both
around the corner you'd be wise to stock up
with some heavenly gourmet popcorn treats. At
Michelle's you can find it in bags or handy
large tins, mine came in bags. I actually
collect popcorn tins they are so versatile a
product with so many uses for storage. I have
them scattered all over the house and each one
is being used for something.

I really love the sleeves on this blouse that I received to write
my review about as they flow all the way down your arm
and are made of chiffon fabrics. It makes it
fit loosely like it's floating across your arms with a light breeze.
I'll admit it I wear a 2x size and that's what I ordered and the
fit was perfect. So they proportion their women's plus size pieces
well. That's important to know that you can order a nice piece of
clothing and it will fit your body just right. You don't have to
worry about ordering up or down a size. Fashion to Figure has got
your back.

They have a great website where you can even sign up
for their email newsletter if you'd like so you can see all the latest and greatest fashions and trends in clothing and fashion. Because I know as a woman how much we all love seeing what's
new and exciting in the fashion clothing world. I'm hoping to do more
fashion and beauty item product reviews on diabetic snacker reviews
so I'm keeping an eye out for plus size fashions that can be found
online. It's so much easier than going to the store for shopping. I
posted a few extra pictures so you could see some of the styles they
have available. My favorite is the color blocked tshirt picture above-
I love that one myself.

My new chiffon top
is fairly sheer so I would need to wear a camisole under it for a little
more privacy if you know what I mean. I suppose the younger generation
can wear a more sheer blouse and pull the look off well in these trendy
times, but for
us older folks I'll be wearing something dainty under mine. :)
It's a great blouse and it fits perfectly so go and check them out.

JAWS: THE RESTORATION
Background Information
The restoration process for Jaws began with researching and evaluating the existing film
elements (original negatives, inter-positives, 35 mm prints, audio magnetic masters, etc.) As
part of the Studios’ preservation process, Universal geographically separates duplicate sets of
elements in vaults in Southern California and on the East Coast in an effort to protect the
company’s most valuable assets. All items are catalogued in a detailed database via barcodes.
After testing the various picture elements for the best quality and resolution, Universal
technical staff chose the original camera negative for 4K scanning. Due to the effects of time
and use, the camera negative had scratches that needed to be removed. Using Cineric, a top
restoration post facility in New York, the negative was scanned through a liquid gate process
that eliminates surface scratches. The files of scanned film were transferred to servers at
Universal Studios Digital Services. Working digitally, the Studios’ skilled technicians
meticulously worked to balance color, remove dirt and scratches and repair any additional
frame damage on a shot by shot, frame by frame basis. All work is done in keeping with the
artistic integrity of the original film.
Once the picture restoration was completed, the team at Universal Studios Sound prepared to
up-mix Jaws to a 7.1 mix from the 5.1 mix that had been created in 2000 using the original
mono soundtrack. Now on the forthcoming Blu-ray, fans can enjoy JAWS in DTS-HD Master
Audio 7.1, optimizing the sound for the latest home theater technology.
The entire collaborative restoration process is done in conjunction with Amblin’s post
production team. Steven Spielberg personally monitored the progress and approved the final
picture and sound.
As a part of Universal’s Centennial celebration, the Studio is producing a full slate of
preservation elements for Jaws and 12 other classic Universal films. These new materials
include videotape masters, digital file masters, Digital Cinema Package (DCP), audio masters,
new film negative, check print and 35 mm screening prints. Through Universal’s on-going
preservation and restoration process, these titles will be enjoyed by generations to come."

"I had the pleasure to taste test some kcups from
Keurig Coffee. The first
product was the breakfast blend coffee and I found it to be a
mild tasting coffee with great flavor. My
husband and I both loved this coffee and would
definitely purchase this in the future.

The second one was english breakfast
black tea While I am not usually a big hot tea
drinker I found this one very enjoyable, with
a mild tea flavor. My husband was not such a
fan as he prefers his tea a little stronger
than I would. Overall I think this is a very
nice morning tea in place of a cup of coffee
and would recommend it to my tea drinking
friends."

Reviews. They are freeze-dried sliced fruit in
single serving packets. There was a variety of
fruits including Asian Pear, strawberry &
banana, pineapple chunks, peaches, fuji
apples, fuji apples with cinnamon, and banana.
They are a delicious snack that both adults
and children will enjoy. They are gluten free,
dairy free, nut free, soy free, vegan, and
kosher which was important to me because one
of my kids is on a gluten/casein free diet. It
is an easy, healthy, mess free, snack that you
can give to kids which will satisfy them and
you'll feel good knowing that it is good for
them. They're great when you need a quick
snack or when you're craving sweets. I will
definately buy this product."

My thoughts;

So there you have it. A healthier snack idea that will
let you be able to eat what you want when you want it
and still feel good about yourself afterwards. Isn't that
we all want from a snack? I like that companies are going
all out to make it possible to have more diabetic friendly
healthier snacks around the house. It's a win win for all the
family members even those who don't have diabetes. Eating
healthy snack choices could help you be safe from ever having
type 2 diabetes.

"I reviewed was Veggie Tales
big promotional package for "Veggie Tales:
Robin Good and His Not-So-Merry Men" DVD which
was released on March 6th 2012. It included
banners, posters, stickers, activity sheets,
Veggie Tales DVD "God Loves You Very Much" and
a Veggie Tales DVD called "A Snoodles Tale: A
Lessen in Self Worth" and a musical CD Veggie
Tales called "O' Holy Night: Journey of a
Little Drummer Boy" and a cuteVeggie Tales
wall hanging clock.
Veggie Tales

The children at the daycare center really
enjoyed the balloons, stickers, and activity
sheets provided in this large kit. I hung the
clock at their level to help them learn how to
tell time. It is working out great!
They will look at it throughout the day and
tell me what time it is so a good educational
experience for them.
The DVD "A Snoodles Tale: A Lessen in Self
Worth" is about Snoodle Doo trying to find out
the meaning of his life. During his quest he
is laughed at by others until he meets someone
who makes him realize that he is wonderful in
the eyes of the Creator.
There is also the funny story of Dr. Jiggle
and Mr. Sly which teaches them to be
themselves.

There are several bonuses on this
DVD including behind the scenes, audio
commentary, concept art, veggie karaoke(which
the kids enjoyed very much), how to draw the
characters, family fun activities, interactive
storybook and trivia game.
The DVD "God Loves You Very Much" is about
Larry the cucumber answering a question from
the Veggie Kids, "Does God love us?" Larry
tells the tale through story and song and
shows them that God loves us all even when we
"dirty up our clothes, or forget to blow our
nose, or don't listen to our dads!" In the end
everyone realizes that God love us no matter
what. It also included a few bonus features
like singalongs and how to draw the
characters.

The CD "O Holy Night: Journey of a Little
Drummer Boy" is a fun Christmas CD from the
movie for the whole family to enjoy. It has
songs featuring Amy Grant, Wynonna Judd,
Matthew West, BeBe & CeCe Winans, and Steven
Curtis Chapman. The songs which are sung by
the Veggies and featured singers include Was
He a Boy Like Me?, It's About Love, Do You
Hear What I Hear?, Hark the Herald Angels
Sing, Can't Smile Without Ewe, Meant To Be,
What Child Is This/The First Noel, Silent
Night, Give This Christmas Away, O Holy Night,
Away In a Manger, and The Little Drummer Boy.
It was a fun CD that the children enjoyed
singing along too."

So this kit box was a huge success for all of
the kids at the day care center. They had
endless fun and excitement just opening up the
box and putting all of the colorful goodies to
use. The clock was a very special touch and
they keep using it every day so it was much
appreciated. Since there were 50 activity
posters the children have fun hanging those up
every day and they are all still loving the
200 stickers. They are sticking a fun sticker
on every project and sheet of paper they do
and they are really having fun with them. It's
a good incentive to keep them wanting to do
their paper assignments with a little reward
of a sticker waiting for them when they are
done. Thanks to Veggie Tales for sending such
a wonderfully fun and exciting kit for so many
kids to enjoy! VeggieTales makes a lot of different
fun and educational dvds for kids of all ages.
