This Means War Movie Review Now Available
on Blu-ray Dvd & Digital 2012 Romance Hit

Wow, what a great movie is what I said after viewing my dvd
screener copy of (This Means War) from Twentieth Century Fox Home
Entertainment Studios. They've outdone themselves with this
presentation. It's a good romantic comedy not overly sappy and the
guys will like it just as much as the girls. I'd even say it'd be
a good date movie to watch with someone you're dating.

This Means War is Starring Reese Witherspoon who is one of my favorite tiny actresses. She's just adorable in this movie it's well suited for her. It also has not one but two gentlemen involved Chris Pine and Tom Hardy. Ok maybe one charming guy and one womanizer is more like it if you get my drift. I've never been a big fan of a womanizing man there is just something so deep down creepy and dirty about them. They actually make my skin crawl like I need a shower immediately. Anyway, It's a done before love triangle but this one is actually funny and a good use of your time so you need to WATCH IT because yes it is that good and hilarious. "

As far as the storyline goes it's about 2 CIA agents Tuck and Frank who have been best friends for life. Isn't that the way they always start out? Well according to the head of their CIA association someone is out to get them so they've been put on hold for awhile or iced. Now, Tuck is divorced with a young son and Frank is a wild and crazy lady's man. You know the type obnoxious and think's he's God's gift to women. Soon Tuck decides it's time to try to find that special someone and have someone be a part of his life again. So naturally he joins an internet dating site doesn't everybody? Lauren seems to be the perfect match for tuck, according to his profile. So they decide to go out only later
she innocently enough meets Frank and sets up a date with him too. She doesn't know they are best friends. she's fond of both men but when they learn that they're dating the same woman they agree to let her choose the perfect guy for her. The movie is about all of the zany and quirky things these 2 CIA agents will do to try to win her over to their side. They use
all the tricks in the book and then some. They do have all of the special
tools and gadgets that the typical FBI and CIA agent's have afterall. How
far will these 2 go for the love of their dreams? I won't spoil any of the details of what they do or who she chooses in the end. I am glad you're not given the correct answer choice until the very end. I like the element of surprise much more in a movie so thanks for that.

I did find some interesting facts and Trivia
out about this movie. I just love movie and tv trivia. So here goes:

1. Bradley Cooper was cast but dropped out due to scheduling conflicts. too bad I miss my Alias hunky good guy.

2. James Franco was offered a role but declined.

3. Sam Worthington, Colin Farrell, Justin Timberlake and Seth Rogen were considered for the lead roles but all declined. I like the two guys they went with the parts suit them to a T.

4. Chris Pine's character talks about watching a "CHiPs" marathon on TV. While In real life his dad, Robert Pine was the mighty Captain on Chips now how cool is that? I love trivia like that and once you know it yes you can see the resemblance in his son's face and the way he moves I think.

Act of Valor is an innovative movie to me because it doesn't use canned actors. It's using the actual service men who fight to
protect our beloved Country every day. I think
it's a bright idea to say the least, something
out of the box. As the name hints this is
definitely an action & adventurous movie that
has now become available on Blu-ray. As you
may know, blu-ray is the format of choice for
all action oriented moviews by the toughest
critics and home viewers. The picture is
unmatched for quality and sharpness.
So like I mentioned, this captures the real
active duty Navy Seals men and women as
fictional Navy Seals fighting to stop an
outrageousterrorist plot against the United
States. So no actors just real people doing
their regular jobs so show some compassion for
this film. These "actors' aren't out ther to
make the glossy big bucks for themselves. They
are out there in the trenches every day to
protect you and your family. I would
definitely consider these men and brave women
as our greatest of American Heroes. I'm sure
it's hard to reenact their daily lives for our
patriotic entertainment. I can't think of
another movie at the moment that's ever taken
such a bold and brillant step before. So hats
off to the movie makers and producers of this
special film.

I do believe one thing that will come from
this movie with real actors is that kids in
America may see that it's really a lot of hard
work and discipline to be a part of this
unique and humble group called Navy Seals. I know they like to think they'll join because it's the coolest thing to do but the long hours and even the early hours may make them differently. I
know they make it look all shiny and new and
twinkly on tv and in movies but this is real
life here people so watch it and be proud you
learned something today. Learning what it
takes for other's to do and virtually give up
so that YOU & I can have our freedom is what
America is all about. Look past the parties
and hoopla for the events and see how hard a
soldier really works to keep your family as
safe as they can.
The film has some awesomely detailed action
arrangements and also2nd person voice over's
which will make you feel like you are there at
the same spot as them. It sometimes seemed a
bit preachy to the kids talking about singling
out your father and how you must follow in
his footstep's, I mean sure there are lessons
to be learned but don't try to recruit from
the movie that doesn't feel right. So other
than the preachiness at times I think you'll
be totally amazed at how good of actors these
guys really are. I think if you didn't know
they were regular Joes for some of them you might have to really think to figure it out.

I know you'll like the novelty aspect of seeing these hometown Heroes in action. The Blu-ray availability is the way to go. It brings in sort of a surround quality to the action and sells itself on every shot from the guns. There are tons of shots from guns too so plenty of muscle power involved.
Some of the dialogue will make you sleepy but there are quite a few explosives scenes to bring you back to your alert and awake status.
I'm not sure why they went into such great details with the statistics and personality behavoirs of a few of the men. Because they really were lost among the crowds of platoons.
So part of that could be deleted I thought.

The track of commentary in the special features is from the director's of the movie.
While that information is interesting, it would have been nicer to have seen documentary coverage of some of these real life heroes instead. The deleted scenes were on target for things that should have been left out.
Act of Valor should earn a spot in your movie viewing time just to bring you back down and let you see how the rest of the World lives to keep you safe from terroists. They don't have time for fancy console games, patriotic parties and shindigs. They're busy fighting the real American fight which sadly takes place every day in The United States. It will give you something to think about and maybe kick you into gear for helping support local troops in your community. I do like how portions of the sales from this go to benefit Operation Homefront.

I was sent 3 family friendly puzzle books to review
recently and I think your family will enjoy them too. They were
a lot of fun to do with the Logic one being my least favorite. I
think you need to be smart for that book and I'm certainly not
that but seriously don't tell anyone that. :)

This very nice bound book is Full of color picture puzzles for all levels of motor skills and ages. It's completely family friendly so you won't have to worry about any of the photos being too adult for young children.
It also feautures unusual suspects of puzzle photographs so it's a good blend of funny,smart,educational and just clean fun.
You'll also be able to find the answers inside which is always helpful to me. I hate when I get stuck on any type of puzzle and the answer won't be available until next week, I'm sure you can relate to that.

2. Puzzle Baron’s Sudoku $9.95.
If the magic power of numbers and all of their possibilites are your cup of tea,this is the book for you. It's got 240 whopping pages of fun and interesting Sudoku puzzles in store for you and your family. You can team up with them or go it alone and you'll all still have plenty of excitement to keep you all occupied.
It's a fun learning experience on each page so I'd really recommend these charming books.

3.Puzzle Baron’s Logic Puzzles Vol 2 $14.95.
Ok now all you logically minded geniuses this book has 200 grid built games for you to crack down and solve. Are you excited yet? I tried to complete a few of them but logic is just too smart for my blood. Yes I'm saying I'm too stupid to do the hard logic puzzles. But, for all you fans of logic and solving problems for the best possible solutions-this is it. This book had a fascinating part on each puzzle where it tells how long it should take you to complete it. I was way off as in very slow for my answers. Well the ones I could finish anyway. I think all 3 of these well written and beautifully conceived books would be great to have on your coffee table. They would each make an excellent gift giving idea too. They are
reasonably priced I thought they should be a lot more than that after
studying each one of them. The writers and photography do a heck of a lot
of hard work on these type of books for very little pay. I think having
puzzle books in the house is a great way to be more actively involved
with your kids education. It's always fun to see how smart they are it's
like a pat on the back for you.

I don't know why most movies and tv shows emphasis The dreaded
laundry "day" each week, At least for me, I haven't been able to just
designate a day for laundry doing in years. I guess moms back in the

detergent that is great at eliminating odors and dirt. I have to step
way outside of the box and find one created to help keep the family
comfortable at all times. Believe me, it's definitely a big challenge
every day of the week.

Pineapple Chicken Kabobs Recipe

Makes 6 (2 kabob) appetizer servings
3 tbsp honey
3 tbsp lime juice, divided
3 tbsp lite soy sauce, divided
2 boneless skinless chicken breast halves, cut into (24) 1-inch pieces
Ground pepper to taste
2 cups DEL MONTE GOLD® EXTRA SWEET PINEAPPLE Chunks
1 medium Del Monte® red bell pepper, cut into (24) 1-inch squares
½ large Del Monte® sweet onion, cut into (24) 1-inch pieces
Peanut oil
To make basting sauce, in a small bowl whisk together honey, 2 tbsp. lime juice, and 2 tbsp soy sauce until smooth.
Sprinkle chicken pieces with remaining 1 tbsp. of lime juice and soy sauce. Sprinkle with pepper to taste. Marinate 15 to 30 minutes.
Directions:
Preheat grill to medium-high. Thread chicken, pineapple, red pepper, and onion alternately on 12 (6-7-inch) skewers. Discard and leftover marinade. Brush lightly with peanut oil.
Grill for 10 to 15 minutes, turning to cook all sides. Brush with basting sauce the last 5 to 10 minutes. Serve any remaining sauce over kabobs.
Note:
For a spicy variation, omit ground pepper and sprinkle chicken with Jamaican Jerk seasoning to taste.

Sounds yummy, right? I love making Kabobs around here with all sorts
of fresh pineapple,chicken,sweet potatoes,potatoes & whatever else
I can find in the fridge. I like to make often myself a leftover kabob
too. I just find all the leftovers which are usually for one person &
I build me a kabob. It's like a brand new special cuisine meal just
for me.

phases they go through over the years but they
always come back around again for their super
fun heroes. It's in their DNA or something they
can't help it so don't blame them. Just go along
with it and keep them happy. Most
young men start out with cars for collecting

favorite topic. I had the opportunity to
receive the new Bonkazonks game from Hasbro
Toys. Mine was the awesome man himself-
Spiderman!
Bonkazonks is a collectible stunt battling
game featuring your favorite Marvel
characters. Plus they went all out and
included the bad guys too. Incase you're
wondering what they do with these new action
figures- you can wage battle's or perform your
own super tricks or stunts. It's easy to play
along as players are able to flick, stack or
just spin their mini Bonkazonk's figure's like
they want. Plus the face cases are for
holding and organizing all your new fun
friends.

The spiderman face case I received is super
adorable and came with a set of
Bonkazonks figures so it's all set to begin
having fun with. It also had a handy display
tray, stuntman type card with a move to try
and an online code for unlocking even more fun

I think kids
enjoy going to the Hasbro website and
imputting codes to get more play out of their
toys so it's a nice feature that they are kind
enough to offer. You can also show other kids
on the internet your collection now that is
super cool. There are over 100 Bonkazonks
available so there are tons of endless options.
So you better tell grandma and everyone else
on your childrens Christmas gift list's
because they are going to want to collect more
than one. Super Heroes are always going to
be around and part of boys and girls lives so

I bet you've never even thought of all the
possibilities of cookiing with grapes. I know
I hadn't until I received this cookbook.
California Grapes account for 99% of all the grapes sold in the US so that's impressive.
They have dozens of colorful recipes inside using
my favorite the green grapes. But, they also include fun
recipes using black and red grapes. Now for
me, I didn't know there were black grapes so I
haven't tried those before. I love green
grapes because they are so sweet and it's a
natural sugar sweetness so great for diabetics
to enjoy anytime. Grapes are actually listed
on my diabetic meal plan as a free item. So
you can have a bunch of cool refreshing grapes
anytime you want. I eat them every day myself
because they are a no fuss snack. Can you
believe there are 60 recipes for every
occasion in this new cookbook?
It's written by the California Table Grape
Commission which if you're like me, I didn't
realize existed but I'm glad it does. this
cookbook covers everything from appetizers
main dishes and beverages so something is in
store for every person in the family. I know
on Food Network and the Cooking Channel many
home Chef's are adding grapes of all colors to
their meals. They make them look hearty and
inviting and they do bring excitement to the
table. Who knew the tiny little grape could
have such a big impact on our food?
Green, Black, Red cookbook
is just right for entertaining and would make a lovely
housewarming gift. It would be something unexpected for the
delighted hostess to receive.

I developed my own brand new recipe for using
grapes and I'm going to share that with you
today. I think it's a very tasty fruitty muffin that everyone
in the family would like to grab and eat. Plus it's completely
healthy using all whole grains and diabetic friendly so to me it's
a keeper.

Breakfast Green Grape Muffins

1 c whole wheat flour
1 c yellow cornmeal
1 c oats
1 c grapes
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 c splenda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
3 eggs
1 c fat free milk
1/4 c olive oil
sugar free grape jam for topping

Slice the grapes in half or pulse them very
lightly in a food processor to break them up
just a little. Then coat them with 1 tbsp of
flour so they don't drop to the bottom of the
muffins. You want little grape bits all trhu
out the muffins. Mix all ingredients together
and put in muffin cups. Bake 350 20 minutes
muffin tins. To serve add a spoon of sugar
free grape jam to the top of muffin and put
fresh grapes on the plate.
Snacking treats for the kids that are healthy
are easy to find and super simple to make.
Enjoy the color and freshness grapes can add
to chicken,pork,beef and even my least
favorite thing the salad. I'll admit adding
grapes to my salads makes me want to eat them
more often. I am a big lover of fruit salads
of anykind, I had just never thought of
putting them in a regular savory salad. This
could be helpful to get kids more interested
in the humble salad too. Tonight I fixed
grapes with grilled chicken skewers and it was
good tasting and great to look at. I even hit
the entire skewer with a bit of basil and it
really brought out the sweet flavor of the
fresh fruits.

The color photos in this cookbook are vividly awesome
andinteresting recipes will have you flipping
thru these pages. I buy fresh grapes every
week at the grocery store so I'm glad they are
available year round. My son who does the
shopping sometimes said aren't you tired of me
getting grapes every week yet? I told him no
way, I love having them in the house to munch
on everyday. I said they are like my little
candy nuggests. There's inexpensive and can be used a
zillion ways.

Today I want to talk about the 3 items of
office supplies
that I received to review from shoplet.com.
They sent me 3 office supplies that have come
in quite handy around the house. I use
highlighter's a lot with my ebay business and
the Sharpie pen came in great for writing on
the shipping labels with it's no smudge
consistency. My son snapped up the Paper Mate
pens right off the bat and said they are his
favorite writing pen. I guess it's good to
have a dependable pen for writing down all
those NBA and NFL scores like he does.

1. Sharpie Gel Highlighter Pen

The Sharpie Gel Highlighter Marker is an
ink free technology instrument. It provides
total smear protection so you have no need to
worry about smudges. If you need to, it can be
uncapped for days without drying out at all. I
didn't believe this one that much so I
actually left it uncapped for 3 days and it
still worked great when I came back around to
it. Isn't that remarkable? One of the best
features of this highlighter is that it won't
bleed thru papers. That is extremely important
with a quality office supply. It was easy to
operate too since you just twist the bottom to
advance it. I also wanted to say this has a
great overall feel. It fits in your hand
nicely and is not overly cumbersome like some
of the other brands of highlighter's.
I do like the gel as it is so smooth. I most
of all like that they are a bright florescent
pink,yellow and orange colors. Since I'm
legally blind these are easy for me to spot on
my work desk and they don't get buried under
stacks of papers. So bold vivid colors are the
way to go for me. It has a hidden bonus
feautre on top of everything else it does. You
can twist the bottom and it will push up a bit
more gel. It's really a versatile remarkable
product.

2. Premium Pen

wow what can I say about this product?
Plenty, that's what. To start off it's
refillable which is a big plus.
It has an outer surface that is completely a
soft gip for your comfort. I'm one of those
people that if I use a hard as bricks pen all
of the time I get a little bump on the sides
of my fingers. I know strange but true. This
soft grip gem worked great against that to my
excitement. It's a very durable product with
a fine tip which delivers precise and
consistent writing with minimal effort from
you. It's like the pen that writes for you.
Na, just kidding you have to actually use it
to do the writing. It's not a magical pen.
Just a very efficient pen. The ink is acid
free, waterproof, smearproof and fade
resistant. So like I said-wow! You will have
to look long and hard to find a pen that can
give you the performance that this one will do
it's a workhorse for the home and office. It
even has a fancier look to it so you could
give a few of these boxed as a gift idea. .
It has a very extremely fine tip and writes
easily for you on every surface. It's quite
impressive looking if you want to have it
front and center on your desk so everyone can
see it.

3. Paper Mate InkJoy 700 RT Ballpoint Pens

Sold in Sets of 4 this last item I received is
also another super duper product to own. This
inkJoy writing system gives you the best in
effortless writing. It starts quickly without
any dragging or making those super crazy
eight's like you normally have to do with a
pen. I really hate making all those 8's it's
such a waste of paper and ink so I'm glad this
one didn't require it. I also noticed it takes
minimal pressure from your hand in order to
use it. That's so important to me with the
arthritis in my hands. I need a smooth
delivery and this one delivers right on
target. It allows you to draw and write with
crisp clear lines and no smudges. It says it
combines an hourglass shape with rubberized
grip to provide comfort and control and I will
agree with that statement. In this package I
received 2 Black, 1 Blue and 1 Red Ballpoint
Pens with guard tips. So they are easy to use
and well established colors so you'll be able
to put them all to a good use. I would highly
recommend these products and Shoplet did a
great job of delivering them in a timely
fashion.

is running a facebook and website campaign with blogger's from June 26 through July 10 that I was able to participate in and wanted to tell you about. It's called the Evergreen Fridge Hunt Tour. Sounds exciting doesn't it, A Fridge Hunt? No, I'm not talking about cleaning out your fridge. Just taking special notice to see what's actually inside that cold dark space. Now that we are all trying to be more green and eco friendly it's vital to know some handy facts about cartons. I was amazed to learn some of these statistics myself.

"Some interesting facts about paper cartons:

A. Over 41 million households have access to carton recycling, and that number is on the rise. In addition, cartons are made from renewable materials.

B. More than 70 percent of the carton is made from paper, all from trees from responsibly managed forests.
Packaging plays a very important role in keeping food and beverages fresh. The environmental impact of a package is just as important as the contents inside.
Cartons are recyclable where facilities exist. The paper fiber contained in cartons is valuable. Recycled cartons are used to make products such as tissue, office paper, wall boards and other building materials.

C. Cartons are made with renewable energy. More than 50 percent of the energy used to make the paper in Evergreen Packaging’s cartons comes from biomass.
Responsible forestry promotes new forest growth, and these forests help to diminish greenhouse gases.

D. Forests remove carbon from the atmosphere and store it in trees. In the US, due to both increases in the total area of forest land and increases in the carbon stored per acre, an additional 192 million metric tons of carbon are sequestered each year through responsible forest management programs nationwide. This offsets roughly 11% of the country’s industrial greenhouse gas emissions, the equivalent of removing almost 135 million passenger vehicles from the nation’s highways.

See wasn't that a lot of empowering information included in this press release?
It was fun so I needed to look in my fridge to determine certain criteria like this:
1. What's in my own fridge that uses these specific packaging?

plastic packaging
plastic cartoons
what is recyclable

I found tons of paper packaging products in my fridge. For one thing I buy 8 gallons of 2% milk every week so there were a lot of plastic cartons inside the fridge. I also noticed my favorite creamy whipped toppings in plastic reusable tubs. Simple plastic wrappings on the cheese slices and lunchmeats. Sticks of margarine take up a lot of paper and plastic. I was surprised to find that I really did have a lot of paper carton goods inside. I keep about a dozen of those cute yogurt containers at all times.

2. Do cartons and packages play an important role in my foods stored in the fridge?
I didn't think about it before this tour but it's obvious to me now that yes they do play a big role. Even the fresh vegetables come in plastic and paper packaging. I found something that fit this description on every single shelf in my fridge.

3. Share This Information with other moms to
show your support by educating other's about the benefits of paper cartons. Every carton fact shared via Twitter using the hashtag #choosecartons will help raise money for Habitat for Humanity® isn't that terrific? It's nice how everyone can use social media to help people all over America now. The world is
certainly revolving and changing with all of these newfound technology advances.

Being a type 2 diabetic for the last 4 years has made me step up my fitness goals quite a bit. It's vitally important to exercise any way that you can every day. I always like the fun and thrill of trying something new so I was excited to find this next product to review. It's called the
Total Bar
which is essentially an exercise bar that is
used to tone up your arms, chest and
shoulders. it's an exercise tool that my 2 grown sons have put to use recently. They see how much trouble I've been having trying to lose weight so now they've decided finally to take a new turn for the better to hopefully avoid diabetes in the future. I usually don't get products that they would review but they jumped at the chance when I said how about the Total Bar? It gave me great pleasure
to see them grin from ear to ear. I guess they'd been looking at it
already and wishing they had it. Isn't it nice when a mom can actually
get her kids something they want and will really use?

It works out your muscles in different way's than what your body normally does every day. One thing the kids like about this bar is the handiness of it. You just grab it and go so there is nothing to mess with or any equipment to set up. They're not the best with written instructions so believe me, that's a real plus. They said the Total Bar prevents boredom because there are so many different ways to use it and custom it to your own work out routine. They even took it to work with them so they could have the guys check it out too. These guys know that mom gets products to review all of the time and they love being a ginny pig for my experiments. There were 5 guy's that tested it out at work thru the course of the day and each one of them really liked how easy it was to use. It didn't tire them out and it makes you feel more refreshed when your'e done with the routine.

The new Total Bar is made by Fitryo and they'd never seen anything like it. They also said they could see their wive's using this type of exercise tool. In case you're wondering what the odd name Fitryo means, It stands for the three combined elements of:

1. Fitness
2. Training
3. Yoga

Here's some of the routines it has instructions for;
Chest Pump
Tricep Pump
Bicep Swing
Bottom Pump
Intermediate Ab Pump
Oblique Pump
Shoulder Pump
Squat Thrust

The name is hard to spell and remember but the product will stick with you
once you try it out.
It's a long very slender pole that is slightly weighted on the ends so it's not overly heavy which I know all of us gals can appreciate. Who wants to be lifting something heavy over your head all of the time anyway. Not even the
most motivated athlete's enjoy that I bet. All together it weighs in about a pound and a half-see I told you lightweight. Even little old me can manage that much of a weight lifting device. The weight's on the ends allow you to vibrate the slender pole as you work different muscles along.

When mine arrived I was amazed at the length of the box it came in. It was the longest tube package available from USPS and I thought now what in the world could this box be? I had no idea this bar would be so long. I thought it would be something like the size of a doorway but it's much longer than that which makes it even more useful. It also came as the complete package with carrying case, nutritional guide workout poster and a training brochure. The Total Bar exercise tool would make a great gift for a man. If you like to stash things back for Christmas time this would be great for that. You'll need a big hiding place though probably under the bed would work.

My son's tried the different poses showed on the charts and poster's and they were super helpful to them. They liked working the core muscles the most they said whatever that means I'm not too smart about muscles and such guy things. It works the
core exercises into your routine is all I know
by forcing you to use other muscles so it gently lets you work out. It makes it easier than a normal situp session would be or crunches.
So there are positions that would help work the tricep area as well as the quad area. Also one that works those tender back muscles which my oldest son has trouble with occasionally. They do a lot of heavy lifting at the Spa Factory where they work manufacturing those beautiful hot tubs. The best part about the tool is you hold each pose for 30-60 seconds so it's much easier than being at work.

On their website they have several video's you can watch that will help you figure out using this correctly but it's really very easy and I think it would help a lot. Also for all you ladies out there into Yoga, the Total Bar could be combined with that and you could be trimmer and more fit in no time. If you get one
let me know what you think of it. My son's have high praise for this
exercise tool.

quality so if you can watch it like that it's
brilliantly displayed. If you still haven't
gotten around yet to buying that blu-ray
player you can still enjoy this movie set on
dvd so it's a double win for you. It's
presented in widescreen so it's a spectacular
showing that the entire family would enjoy not
just the girls and they comedy carries well
all thru out the movies.

I received a review copy of a very helpful book called;

(Unjunk Your Junk Food: Healthy Alternatives to Conventional Snacks).
I really love the tremendous effort these 3 women author's put
into the colorful pages of this charming book. It's an easy to
understand and easy book to read.
Being legally blind I find I enjoy seeing bold
and brightly colored objects so this has a ton
of them to see. Another thing you'll find is
the smart snack options in side by side
comparisions. That makes it very easy to see
which choice is the one you should make.

Also, I like the tear out chart for the Worst

just need the reminder with us to glance at. With 256 pages you are sure to find a lot of really great tips,simple changes and healthier fixes. It's snacking and meal planning made easier. Being diabetic, I do a lot of snacking and it now has to be healthier so this book is like a goldmine of positive hints, tips and idea's. I think it would help everyone who wants to start eating more on the healthy side which we all should be doing. Do it now and you might even be able to avoid diabetes in the future. The book tells you so many nice alternatives and it doesn't do it in a preachy sermon type of way so I love it.

This adventure is about 3 men who explore a
spectacular creepy cave and gain access to
something supernatural beyond their belief. It's called:
(Chronicle)
and does a great job of telling the
story of these three comrades. The young men
inherit by visiting this cavern their own
super human powers that they never imagined
possible before. Certainly nothing like it on
Earth before. Now you know if you have all of
these new powers you're going to have to check
them out and see how they roll. Well that's
exactly what these guys do and they will have
to learn to live with the consequences of
being a human being with super human powers.

Their trials and hardships because of these
magical powers will affect the rest of their
lives. You can join them on this wild
adventure and maybe pretend you have a super
power of your own. This is a fascinating film
as you see their lives take on new meaning
thru the eyes of their video camera.
The main character Andrew (DeHaan) is
asecluded teenager who uses his trusty video
camera for everything and on everyone. The
2nd young man ishis cousin Matt (Russell) who
has'nt got a care in the world before this
happens to them.
He's probably the most relaxed at ease guy
you'd ever run into. I'm not saying he's lazy
he's a likeable guy. Matt forces Andrew to go
to a party with him which is not usually his
scene, where Steve (Jordan) the School's "It
Guy" on campus resides. He's also the
discovery genius behind this supposed mystery
cave located in the woods. The young men set
out to record every detail about this which is
why the film is called Chronicle.

I thought it was a lot of fun watching as
these 3 men took on the task of learning their
abilities and what they could and couldn't do
with such powers. It makes you wonder what
would you do first if you found yourself
subcharged with superpowers. They will embark
on a wonderful journey and you will be right
there with them. Even as they learn to fly
like Superman which was awesome to watch the
surprises on their faces as they realized this
dream had actually come true. Not sure where
I'd fly to first but I do like the fact that
they take the time to play many practical
jokes on various students and teachers.
Sure the movie has some flaws in the
characters and the dialogue but I really
enjoyed this 1&1/2 hour presentation.

I don't usually watch too
much on the MTV television station but
something about this supernatural powered show
made me say yes to this dvd for reviewing.
Afterall, I'm a big fan of many of the tv
series dealing with such matters of the
strange and possessed beings that live among
us. This hit MTV series is nominated for six Teen Awards so hey somebody must be loving this presentation.

Of course I had seen the original movie with
actor Michael J. Fox who I still adore today
so I gave it a shot in the dark. I figured at
least I had the dvd so I could just watch an
episode or two right? Since I had already
missed the showing of this series when it
aired it was a good chance for me to catch up
and see if I'd want to bother watching Season
2 later or not.
Surprisingly more to me than anyone I actually
was pulled in right from the start I'm such a
sucker for a romantic drama if there's any
possibility of romance happening between two
people I'm there. The series has quite a bit
of comedy and smart alecky'ness mixed inwith
the drama so it's an easy to watch show for
me.

All of the teens are great at their respected
parts and they play the High School jerks
nicely. In the special features they show the entire cast during the Red Carpet Event and it's great to see. I love seeing everyone all dolled up and looking their best especially since some of these can look scary in their character attire. There is plenty of sweet looking guys
and gals on board so whichever floats your
boat you'll be right at home with this
suspense thriller. Just don't go out after
dark.
Now I know what you're thinking this kind of
series has been done time and time again. But
there is some uniquess to this guilty
adventure that very well may reel you in too.

I think it's got my tivo vote for Season 2
this fall. Strange things just seen to follow
the people of this town around and I for one
want to be there and see how it turns out. I'm
always up for a creepy tantalizing tale. You
can find this dvd on Amazon.com and the Teen
Wolf website for $29.96 which is a good price
for a complete season of any show that is
entertaining.
